From points East
Take I-40 W/US-421 N toward Winston-Salem.  Take the I-40-BR exit, EXIT 206, toward US-421 N/Kernersville/Winston-Salem Downtown.  Merge onto I-40 BR W/US-421 N.  Take the Cherry Street exit, EXIT 5C, toward the Convention Center.  Turn right onto S. Cherry Street.  Stay on Cherry Street until you reach 5th Street.  The Convention Center will be on the left hand corner of Fifth and Cherry Street, connected to the Embassy Suites Hotel.

From points West
Take I-40 E toward Winston-Salem.  Merge onto I-40 BR E/US-421 S via EXIT 188 on the left toward Winston-Salem.  Take EXIT 5C toward Cherry Street/Downtown/Convention Center.  Turn left onto High Street/High Street SW.  Turn left onto S. Cherry Street.  Stay on Cherry Street until you reach 5th Street.  The Convention Center will be on the left corner of 5th and Cherry Street connected to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
